Locals at the Halloween "JIG"

These are pictures of some of the costumes the locals wore at the Halloween Jig but there was no jigging going on... although the chief played an awesome fiddle. The bottom two pictures are examples of the costumes we saw all night. You could not tell who was who until they unmasked themselves while receiving their prizes. The top one is of Johnny hitting the pinata. The chief is the tall guy in the background (he handed out caribou meat and popcorn for halloween!) and you can see Clifton in the far right corner of the picture. Every time we cross paths, which is most everyday because he does work for the post office about the time I make it there everyday, I can't help but smile and just feel happier. He's such a pleasant person. But who isn't around here?!
