Yep this is it! The first is a view of the school from a plane. The long brown building to the left (kind of in the middle) is our teacher housing. The second is a sign on the community center "Welcoming" you to Venetie. The only thing is that the sign is close to the old airport so noone sees it until they've walked a mile at least! The next picture is of the Native store. They have a little of everything and a lot of pop! They are also very high priced ($7 for a bag of chips)!!! This is the store that was recently in the Fairbanks paper (the one that was broken into using a chainsaw to cut a 3 foot hole in the wall) but it is still running well. The last is a picture of the village clinic. It's empty. Noone's there.
