The picture below is our house... trailer... building... living space... oh heck! It's where we eat, sleep, and play. Oh, how God tests us.
The view out our kitchen window. It's pretty cool. They are moving dirt from one giant pile to 3 large piles... not sure why. The kids enjoy watching them work.
Arwen watching and waving to the trucks.

Mine and Joe's bedroom... still unpacking... don't look too hard please
The kitchen... we spend most of our time at home in here.
Gavin's and Arwen's bunk. Surprisingly they are all doing really well in this one space

The smaller building below is the post office. I have yet to be in it because all our mail is usually hand delivered to the school.
This is the playground about 20 feet from our front door. It is a very nice set up. It does need to be mowed though.
Guess. Did you guess this picture was the school?! You are right!
The Yukon river. It's massive and beautiful!
We took a little walk today and passed some rose hips and raspberries. I'm going to attempt rose hip syrup soon and see if I can't find someone to take me berry picking... there wasn't enough along the road to satisfy our bellies :)
Please pray... Thora has been acting funny. Can't decide if she got kennel cough (which she was vaccinated for) or if the rat poison that she ate is hurting her... and as there is no vet here we are working on prayers alone.
Sorry we haven't called anyone to let you know we were still alive (or to let you chat with the kids ma). Our phone is not working (it could take up to 10 days for them to get someone out here to look at it and see what's going on there) and we can't call from the school phone without a phone card... which we do not have. Soon though :)

Northern Exposure was a TV show about a guy moving to Alaska. I LOVED to watch it! Miss You all! I was on a plane to Detroit when you called me. Please try again! Love & Miss You Guys!

Wow! I had no idea you guys were back in Alaska! I know you guys wanted to go back and I'm glad that everything worked out so you could be where you wanted to be. I'm in Savannah right now, married and getting ready to deal with my first deployment with my husband. However we've talked about asking for Alaska as our next duty station. How crazy would that be? Love you all! Hope you're all doing well!
Hi Erin! I am so glad to hear from you!!! Will you use the contact button at the top of the page and send me your email? I'd love to chat more with you!
