This is where we lived in the Alaskan Bush, above the Arctic circle, on a reservation... kinda. Not much to post in Nostalgia land but these should answers some of the questions we've been getting.
"Where did you live?" This is the school Joe taught at. It has a red roof. The long building to the left of the school is where we (most of the teachers) lived. It has a silver roof.
"Was it cold?" This is Joe's face... it's frozen.
"Isn't it dark all the time?" Macy at big lake. LOVE this shot Ma captured. As you can see there is plenty of light.
We were asked yesterday... "Where is Venetie?" So here it is on a map.
Here it is further away. Venetie is the one in the yellow with circles around it.
