Pictures: The pregnant superhero figurine Ma got me, the littlest guest at the Tea Party, and the fleece undies I made for Molly!
Isn't this Fall weather just fantastic?! I love it! The windows have been open for days and I have been motivated to get some things together for baby. I have washed, dried, folded, and put away all Arwen's cloth dipes. I have washed, dried, and folded her clothes. And I have organized the kids bathroom closet. It doesn't seem like a lot but it took me almost 2 days to do it all and I am very proud. We have a few more things to buy and tons of cleaning and organizing to do but we are almost ready and I am feeling much better about that. I also made Molly some fleece undies. As long as I do a little bit every day I can keep the panic at bay.
Pregnancy update: We had ANOTHER ultrasound yesterday (Wednesday) and it went wonderfully! I was so surprised to see how much she has grown. She now has a wrinkly little brain, her bones look harder and thicker, and her diaphragm was moving so she is "breathing" in there. We watched her swallowing, sucking her fingers, hiccuping, blinking, and moving like crazy the entire time. Her crazy moves made the ultrasound much too long because it was hard to get measurements of her! But with the final measurements in... she is now weighing 5lbs 5oz and is measuring 34 weeks+ which is 2 weeks ahead of what she should be! She is a big baby already! I take this as good news if she comes early but not so good news if she is full term! YIKES! I see my doctor tomorrow and look forward to seeing what they have to say about this.
I am still having contractions with cramping in-between and they are getting harder all the time... just not fast enough I assume or should would be here. I have a feeling it won't be long (or I am going to be miserable come the 40 week mark!).
I hope the weather has been this beautiful where ever you are!
