We took the family down to Florida recently and had a wonderful time! We visited with my Grandma first. The kids had a wonderful time at the beach even if they were all afraid to get in the ocean. Joe, who usually wouldn't be caught dead in the ocean, went swimming with me in the big blue! Macy helped Grandma Michetti in the kitchen and is now convinced she can make dinner and who could forget the most important part... Grandma taught the kids (and Joe) how to swish their jello around in their mouth!!! HAHA! It really was a vacation there. I wish we could have stayed longer! Then we headed to Meme's and Pepe's for a short visit. The kids got in the pool just a bit. They weren't very found of the "deep water" but they had fun doing other things like picking a pineapple with Pepe and playing with all of the dolls that line the walls. Meme sent each kid home with a sea shell so they can hear the ocean whenever they like and they do quite often. We all can not wait to go back!
Baby update: Last ultrasound the hemorrhage was practically undetectable! I am having contractions still and they are getting worse over time but so far I have learned to cope. After all, this is not exactly birth it just wears me out. The baby is growing perfectly but I still go for ultrasounds every 3-4 weeks until she is born to make sure she continues to grow... and not too big either because I "failed" my first gluclose test. The gluclose test is where the doc makes you drink NASTY sugar water, takes your blood an hour later, then tests to see how your body reacts to it. Well even though I had quit eating sugar almost completely I will still have to go back for the 3 hour test :( I am not happy about that. Anyways, the thought now is that if the baby is full term she will be a large baby. UG! What next?!
We have picked out a name for baby... It will be (unless I change my mind again) Arwen Anastasia Waarvik
Job update: Joe has a job! Not exactly what we were hoping for but it's better than nothing. He now works retail at Sports Academy in Cool Springs. He also was called back for orientation at GM. GM would be a temp job until Thanksgiving and pays way better but I am not sure how well working both jobs will work out. We are hoping and praying that it will work out somehow.
Kid update: Gavin has had 2 soccer games now and both were ties. He loves soccer! Macy started pre-tap/ballet and loves it! She still does nothing during class but I can see she is getting more comfortable. She actually walked across the floor when called last Thursday and nobody had to hold her hand! HAHA she is exactly like I was when I "danced" at her age. I at least know she is paying attention because although she does nothing in class she can come home and do it. Molly wears tutus around the house and pretends to do ballet and she runs around with Gavin's soccer ball but I think she is going to be more artistic. I can't leave anything remotely like paper laying out or she will color on it!
There is just 10 weeks before this baby is due! Ma is having a baby shower in the form of a Tea Party for me and it's really getting me excited! I didn't realize how much of our baby items we had given away or sold when we went to Alaska. This is going to be a much needed shower! I registered online this time because the things I wanted/needed were from various stores and some online stores (like the cloth diapers we are going to use). Has anyone used an online registry before? I am a little nervous it will not be easy to use. I can not wait to see the guests in their big hats and gloves. Tea parties are just too much fun!
Also we are having a Halloween party ON Halloween this year. I LOVE the fall so much! It is Arrested Development theme so dressing as a character from the discontinued TV show will earn you extra points! Yay for cooler weather!

We used the Amazon baby registry. It's easy to use and they have a universal registry feature which allows you to link to products on other sites if Amazon does not have what you want/need. The Target and Baby's R Us registries work in-store and online which is nice because if you forget to register for something at the store you can update them from home.
Can't believe I just forgot to type in my name on that last comment...that's what I get for publishing without using the preview feature.
LOL no problem! I saw the Amazon registry a few days too late but I think in the future I may use that one. Thanks for the input!
