Sorry there hasn't been any new posts lately... or new drawings! I have had a good reminder of why I hated being pregnant. I get so darn sick. I have just been sleeping and trying my hardest to keep food down for 3 days now. Morning sickness lasts all day for me and although it gets easier after the first trimester it does not go away. Maybe this time it will be different. Let's all pray this pregnancy doesn't kick my butt like the others did so that maybe I can enjoy some of it! Now that I have whined a little let me tell you what else has been going on...
We finally have every step of the way home planned out... how many miles to each stop, which have showers which don't, when we can do our laundry, the nights we should sleep in the vehicle because of bears, EVERYTHING! It is all planned out. I almost can't wait to drive home now. Almost. (did you know that EVERY stop in Canada has cold beer?! who knew)
We have settled the on going battle with the insurance company and will no longer have that headache to deal with! We can finally move on from that darn car wreck... not that I will limp less or magically heal now but my head feels a lot better.
Joe has been looking for a job back in TN. No luck yet but we are not going to give up so easy this time. All ya'll Tennesseans keep us in mind if you hear anyone hiring!
We are going to fly into Fairbanks in mid April to get the dog fixed, buy a vehicle for the ride home (15 passenger vans are cheaper than SUVs weird), and to have this leech checked out. I refer to this baby as a leech because it sucks the life out of me. Macy asked the other day if it would come out as a baby though... I have confused the poor girl terribly. oops.
We have 3 birthdays in April so we are going to plan to have a party here so that should be exciting!
The spring carnival is coming up April 9th- 14th and there are some really exciting things planned in the village. They will have all kinds of dog sled races, Jigs, potlatches, piggy back ride contests, 3 dog sleeping bag contest (yes the dogs pull you in a sleeping bag!), tea making contests, and everything else you can imagine being at a high school fun day! I really can't wait. It is a perfect example of what Venetie is like.... nuts! LOL! This shall be a hoot!
Well I feel the sleep taking over once more so I will end things here. I will try to write more soon!

Have Fun at the Spring Festival-Let me know if you want my Fruit Tea recipe! Love the pic of Gavin.
Well the tea making contest isn't just making tea... you have to chop the wood, build a fire, boil water, and make tea. It's a race I think. Kayleen actually took the picture of Gavin. She loves using my camera when she's here. Did I tell you I taught her how to sew and we made a headband for her for her b-day! It was fun!
Thats great! I'm glad that you are able to teach other people your talents-I'm sure that Kayleen has enjoyed her time with your family, was probably a b-day to remember. Don't guess you will be in the contest! LOL
I'm going to try and get Joel and Dex to drag me around the yard in a sleeping bag! That sounds awesome! Take TONS of pictures!!!
LOL Jackie! That is too funny! Take pictures of that for me!!! I will take tons of pictures and video. It should be a sight to see!
Nope I don't think I will participate in anything... maybe the babe contest... oh wait that says baby... nope I won't be participating at all. I hope Gav will get to though... maybe Macy too if she doesn't get scared of the dog sled.
Oh Jackie! Me and my cousins used to slide down Grandmas steps in sleeping bags! It was tons of fun but it started to hurt more the older we got... try it on the steps to your basement! LOL! ;)
